I am looking for high shot count (30+) Minimum of 25 FPE. Backyard friendly. Under 8lbs (prefer 7)
half inch or better accuracy at 50 yards .. I seem to like 39-42" length rifles

90% of my shooting will be targets or plinking
9% of my shooting will be backyard pesting vs Starlings and the occasional squirrel that is tearing up my feeders

1% goes to a potential squirrel hunting session with a friend who hunts to stock his freezer.

In no particular order AND links are only to sites with the best information on the rifles, not necessarily where I would purchase them.

Though not on the list and due to the price is in consideration since this is a hobby for me ...

It's too bad I can't hold each of these rifles (without traveling out of state) to see which one feels the best to me. I imagine all on that list are roughly as accurate as the other and ALL depend on my ability.

All of those are tempting for me, but if I bear in mind that I might need to hang a barrel weight on it and do some trigger work the Dominator 1250 is high on the list for me as well. The FT combo in .177 for shear shot count, or the .22 for small game.

So many choices and so little spare cash. :D

And for shot count, power, and consistency maybe a regulated RAW.

I looked at them once or twice. As I recall the (nearly) 10 pounds they weigh makes them prohibitively heavy for taking into the woods (for me), then again I think maybe I can trade my way to a smaller gun in the event I do get to squirrel hunt.

I guess I need to figure out how close one tends to get to them. Hell, in my backyard I can get within 15 yards of them. I have a feeling the ones in the "wild" are more skittish.
