Default Pallas Bull

G`d evening gents,

bought me a new second hand airgun last week. My first Bullpup. It was a bargain with a nasty edge. But i thought i was able to undo the edge of its sharp contours.

Pallas is said to be some German brand but in reality the Pallas is not mo` or less than Kral Arms from Turkey. Sometime ago i bought the Kral Puncher Pro, it was the worst grouping airgun i`ve ever held in my arms. So why buy another Kral Arms kinda airgun? Well, i don`t exactly know. Think i like working on an airgun. If this one doesn`t do what it oughtta i`m gonna put another barrel in it. But first let`s see what we`ve got.

A 12 shot bullpup.

In wich the magazines didn`t fit.

So i used my lathe to remove some .10 mm form the mags. And now they`re functioning again. I`m shooting airguns for quit some years but this is the first time this problem occurs.

There are lotsa similarities between the Kral and the Pallas.

The front end of both guns.

Cool

.................

An elevated Weaver for the scope.

The sidelever. The first mags i saw myself expecting the lever somewhere else than my hand was.

Lotsa parts of the Pallas and the Kral Arms are interchangeable.

Using the longer tube on the Bull? Why not. Shoving the .25 barrel from the Puncher Pro in? No problem.

The next few weeks i`m gona do some grouping. See if it works.

Best regards, Roel

Hi Dave,

hope you`re doing well.

I have contacted Huub from HuMa. De filling valve of the Kral`s are pretty large in diameter, som 1/2" and since we`re shooting with an external regulator a smaller filling valve would be better. The smaller the diameter the easier it opens. With an HuMa regulator the gun will work with a much more stablie pressure and it`ll shoot better groups. I have to find a way to make the valve open easier. If this will work for the .22 Pallas it`ll do the job for the .25 Kral Puncher Pro too i suppose.

Best regards, Roel

Hiya,

took the Pallas to the range yesterday. A few days ago i told that i`m gonna put a HuMa regulator in it. Yesterday there was a guy at the range with a chronometer. I asked if i could use it. I filled the rifle up to 200 bar or 2900 psi and used the 16 grein jsb pellets.

There must be a reg inside this little gun. I was very pleased with the shotstring.

When christmas is over i`ll take the gun apart and see which regulator there is inside.

Merry X mas.

Best regards.

Hiya Dave,

i took the gun apart a few days ago and guess what....no regulator in it! This gun is ment to be as consistent as this. Some other Dutch guy showed me a shotstring of his Kral Breaker and it was as consistent as mine. I don`t know of any other gun with a shotstring like this one at this powersetting.

It`s become my fave plinker i`m dragging this little gun with me everywhere i am shooting. Op to 70 yards i don`t mis any target. It`s a great gun.

Best regards.
